These pinwheels combine the iconic flavor of an everything bagel with creamy fillings, all rolled into a perfect, portable bite. They are ideal for tailgates and parties because they can be made entirely ahead of time, requiring no last-minute cooking. They are simple, reliable, and designed to please a crowd with minimal fuss.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 8 oz cream cheese, fully softened
  • 1/4 cup sour cream
  • 2 tbsp everything bagel seasoning, plus more for garnish
  • 2-3 green onions, finely sliced
  • 4-5 slices cooked bacon, cooled and crumbled
  • 4 large (10-inch) flour tortillas
  • 1/4 lb deli smoked turkey or ham, thinly sliced
  • 1 handful baby spinach or arugula, roughly chopped

Instructions

  1. In a medium bowl, beat the softened cream cheese and sour cream together until completely smooth and lump-free.
  2. Fold in the 2 tablespoons of everything bagel seasoning, most of the sliced green onions (reserve a pinch for garnish), and all of the crumbled bacon until evenly distributed.
  3. Lay one tortilla flat on a clean cutting board. Spread an even layer of the cream cheese mixture over the entire surface.
  4. Lay a single layer of smoked turkey slices over the cream cheese, then scatter a handful of chopped spinach evenly over the turkey.
  5. Starting at the edge closest to you, tightly roll the tortilla away from you, keeping the fillings tucked in. Repeat with remaining tortillas.
  6. Wrap each log tightly in plastic wrap. Refrigerate for at least 1 hour, or up to 24 hours.
  7. Unwrap the logs. Using a sharp serrated knife, trim off the uneven ends, then slice each log into 1-inch thick pinwheels.
  8. Arrange on a platter, sprinkle with extra everything bagel seasoning and the reserved green onions, and serve.

Notes

Chilling the rolled logs is crucial for clean slicing. For gluten-free, use GF tortillas. For vegetarian, omit bacon and use veggie deli meat. For a lighter option, swap sour cream for Greek yogurt and use light cream cheese. Do not overfill the tortillas.
