A fun, no-bake snack that's perfect for making with kids. These pretzels combine sweet white chocolate, salty crunch, and a tart strawberry finish for an irresistible treat. They come together in minutes with just a few simple ingredients.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 12 ounces high quality white chocolate chips or melting wafers
  • 1 (10 ounce) bag mini pretzel twists (about 6 to 7 cups)
  • 1 ounce freeze dried strawberries (about 1 cup)
  • 1 tablespoon coconut oil or vegetable shortening (optional)
  • Flaky sea salt, for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  1. Line two large baking sheets with parchment paper. Place pretzels in a large bowl.
  2. Crush freeze dried strawberries into a fine powder using a food processor, blender, or a zip top bag and rolling pin. Set aside.
  3. In a microwave safe bowl, combine white chocolate chips and coconut oil (if using). Microwave in 30 second bursts, stirring vigorously between each, until completely smooth and fluid.
  4. Pour the melted chocolate over the pretzels. Using a silicone spatula, gently fold and stir until every pretzel is thoroughly coated.
  5. Immediately pour the coated pretzels onto the prepared baking sheets, spreading into a mostly single layer.
  6. While the chocolate is still wet, generously sprinkle the strawberry powder over the top. Add a pinch of flaky sea salt if desired.
  7. Allow to set completely at room temperature, or refrigerate for 15 to 20 minutes to speed up the process.
  8. Once the chocolate is hard, break the large clusters into smaller, bite sized pieces. Store in an airtight container.

Notes

Use only freeze dried strawberries, not fresh, to prevent the chocolate from seizing. Have your strawberry powder ready before melting the chocolate for timely sprinkling. For gluten free, use certified gluten free pretzels.
