These Red White and Blue Layered Jello Cups are a festive, no-bake dessert perfect for 4th of July celebrations. Each serving delivers a bright, fruit-forward sweetness with a creamy white layer, all in a stunning patriotic presentation.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 box (3 oz) strawberry Jello
  • 1 box (3 oz) berry blue Jello
  • 1 envelope unflavored gelatin
  • 1 can (14 oz) sweetened condensed milk
  • 2 cups boiling water, divided
  • 1 cup cold water, divided
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 2 tablespoons powdered sugar
  • Fresh blueberries and sliced strawberries for garnish

Instructions

  1. Make the red layer: Dissolve strawberry Jello in 1 cup boiling water. Stir until completely dissolved, about 2 minutes. Add 1/2 cup cold water and stir. Pour evenly into six clear cups, filling about 1/3 of the way up. Refrigerate for 30 minutes until set but still slightly tacky on top.
  2. Prepare the white cream layer: In a small bowl, sprinkle unflavored gelatin over 1/4 cup cold water. Let sit 5 minutes to bloom. Heat sweetened condensed milk in a small saucepan over medium-low heat until warm. Add bloomed gelatin and stir until completely dissolved. Remove from heat and let cool to room temperature.
  3. In a separate bowl, whip heavy cream and powdered sugar until soft peaks form. Gently fold the condensed milk mixture into the whipped cream until smooth and creamy. Let sit about 10 minutes to thicken slightly.
  4. Assemble the white layer: Spoon white cream mixture over set red Jello layer, filling each cup about halfway. Tap cups gently on counter to level surface. Return to refrigerator for 30 minutes until firm.
  5. Make the blue layer: Dissolve berry blue Jello in 1 cup boiling water. Stir until completely dissolved. Add 1/2 cup cold water and stir. Let cool 5 minutes, then carefully pour over set white layer. Fill each cup to about 1/4 inch from top. Refrigerate for at least 1 hour until fully set.
  6. Garnish and serve: Top each cup with fresh blueberries and sliced strawberries just before serving.

Notes

For best results, ensure each layer is fully set before adding the next to avoid colors bleeding. Use clear cups to show off the layers. These can be made a day ahead and garnished just before serving.
