These no-bake mint Oreo truffles are a cool, creamy, and fun dessert. They are perfect for making with kids and require just a few simple ingredients. The result is a rich, minty truffle coated in a crisp chocolate shell.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 (14.3 oz) package Mint Creme Oreos
  • 1 (8 oz) block full-fat cream cheese, softened
  • 12 oz semi-sweet or dark chocolate chips or melting wafers
  • Optional: crushed Oreo crumbs, green sprinkles, or white chocolate for decoration

Instructions

  1. Place all Mint Oreos in a food processor and pulse into fine crumbs. Alternatively, place cookies in a sealed bag and crush with a rolling pin.
  2. In a large bowl, combine Oreo crumbs and softened cream cheese. Mix with a hand mixer or sturdy spatula until uniform and dough-like.
  3. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper. Use a small cookie scoop to portion dough, then roll into smooth balls. Place on the sheet.
  4. Freeze the shaped truffle balls for 15-20 minutes to firm up.
  5. Melt the chocolate in a microwave-safe bowl in 30-second bursts, stirring between each, until smooth.
  6. Remove truffle balls from freezer. Dip each ball in melted chocolate using a fork, tap off excess, and return to parchment. Decorate immediately if desired.
  7. Let chocolate set at room temperature or refrigerate for 15 minutes. Serve chilled.

Notes

Ensure cream cheese is fully softened. Do not skip the freezer chill step, as it prevents truffles from falling apart during dipping. Store in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 1 week.
