These treats are a colorful, no-bake snack perfect for parties or a fun kitchen project with kids. They transform classic cereal treats with the playful charm of Lucky Charms for a festive and easy dessert.

  • 6 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • 1 (10 oz) bag regular marshmallows
  • 1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract
  • 6 cups Lucky Charms cereal
  • Pinch of fine sea salt

Instructions

  1. Line a 9x13 inch baking dish with parchment paper, letting edges overhang. Lightly grease the paper and pan sides.
  2. In a large pot, melt butter over low heat. Add marshmallows and stir constantly for 5-7 minutes until completely melted, smooth, and glossy.
  3. Remove pot from heat. Stir in vanilla extract and salt.
  4. Immediately pour in Lucky Charms cereal. Gently fold until all cereal is evenly coated.
  5. Quickly transfer mixture to the prepared pan. Press into an even layer without compacting too hard.
  6. Let sit at room temperature for at least 1 hour, or until completely firm and cool.
  7. Use parchment paper to lift the block from the pan. Cut into squares with a sharp knife.

Notes

Use low heat to prevent tough or burnt marshmallows. For gluten free treats, ensure cereal and marshmallows are certified gluten free. Store in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 3 days.
