These playful Grinch fruit sticks are a festive, no-bake holiday snack. They feature green grapes, strawberries, bananas, and a marshmallow to create an edible Santa hat. Perfect for parties, they are quick, healthy, and fun for all ages.

Ingredients

  • 1-2 cups large green grapes (about 20-30)
  • 1 large just-ripe banana
  • 10-15 medium strawberries
  • 10-12 mini marshmallows
  • Wooden or paper skewers (6 inch)

Instructions

  1. Rinse the grapes and strawberries under cool water. Pat them completely dry with a kitchen towel.
  2. Slice the banana into 1/2-inch thick rounds. Hull each strawberry by slicing off the green leafy top to create a flat base.
  3. Take a skewer. Thread one mini marshmallow onto the very tip.
  4. Carefully push the skewer through the pointed tip of a strawberry, down through the center, and out the flat base. The strawberry should sit just below the marshmallow.
  5. Add one banana slice to the skewer, following the strawberry.
  6. Finish by adding one or two green grapes to the bottom of the skewer.
  7. Repeat with remaining ingredients. If using wooden skewers for children, snip off the sharp point with kitchen shears after assembly.

Notes

For best results, assemble within an hour of serving. To prevent banana browning, dip slices briefly in lemon juice and pat dry before skewering. For a vegan version, use vegan marshmallows or substitute with a white chocolate chip or pineapple piece.
