- 8 oz cream cheese, softened (full-fat works best)
- 1/2 cup sour cream
- 2 tablespoons mayonnaise
- 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
- 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/4 teaspoon onion powder
- 1/4 teaspoon paprika (smoked paprika adds wonderful depth)
- 1/4 cup finely grated cheddar cheese
- 2 tablespoons chopped fresh chives
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Pretzels for serving
Instructions
- Place softened cream cheese in a medium bowl and beat with a hand mixer until fluffy and smooth.
- Add sour cream and mayonnaise, and mix until fully incorporated.
- Stir in Dijon mustard, Worcestershire sauce, garlic powder, onion powder, and paprika.
- Fold in cheddar cheese and chopped chives. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
- Cover and chill for 30 minutes to allow flavors to meld (optional but recommended).
- Before serving, garnish with extra chives and a pinch of paprika. Serve with pretzels and enjoy!
Notes
Make ahead tip: Prepare up to 2 days in advance and refrigerate in an airtight container. For a spicier dip, add cayenne or chopped jalapeños. Serve with pretzels, veggies, or use as a sandwich spread!
