This homemade Crispy Chicken Ranch Snack Wrap brings together tender, crunchy chicken, cool and tangy ranch dressing, crisp lettuce, and a soft flour tortilla in a way that’s both incredibly easy and wildly delicious. Perfect for a speedy weeknight dinner or a lunch the whole family will love.
Ingredients
- 2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts (about 1 lb total), pounded to ½-inch thickness
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 2 large eggs, beaten
- 1 cup panko breadcrumbs
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp paprika
- ½ tsp salt
- ¼ tsp black pepper
- Avocado oil or neutral oil, for frying
- 4 large flour tortillas (10-inch burrito size)
- ½ cup ranch dressing
- 2 cups shredded iceberg lettuce
- 1 large tomato, diced
- Optional: shredded cheddar cheese, sliced red onion, bacon bits
Instructions
- Prepare the Chicken: Place chicken breasts between plastic wrap and pound to ½-inch thickness. Slice into 1-inch wide strips.
- Create Breading Station: Set up three shallow dishes with flour mixture (flour, garlic powder, paprika, salt, pepper), beaten eggs, and panko breadcrumbs.
- Bread the Chicken: Dredge chicken strips in flour, then egg, then panko, pressing firmly to coat. Place on plate.
- Cook Chicken: Heat ½ inch oil in skillet to 350°F. Fry chicken 3-4 minutes per side until golden brown and internal temperature reaches 165°F. Or air fry at 400°F for 12-15 minutes.
- Warm Tortillas and Assemble: Warm tortillas in dry skillet or microwave. Spread ranch dressing down center, add lettuce, tomato, and crispy chicken strips.
- Fold and Roll: Fold bottom third up over fillings, then fold sides inward, and roll tightly from bottom up. Slice diagonally and serve immediately.
