Description

These impossibly addictive Crack Sausage Balls combine savory pork, sharp cheddar, and zesty ranch seasoning for the ultimate easy appetizer that disappears in minutes.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 pound ground breakfast sausage (mild or hot pork sausage)
  • 2 cups shredded sharp cheddar cheese
  • 1 ½ cups Bisquick baking mix
  • 1 packet (1 ounce) dry ranch dressing mix

Instructions

  1. Combine the Ingredients: In a large mixing bowl, add ground sausage, shredded cheddar cheese, Bisquick, and ranch seasoning. Use clean hands to gently mix until just combined.
  2. Form the Balls: Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Line baking sheet with parchment paper. Using a tablespoon or cookie scoop, portion mixture and roll into 1-inch balls. Place on baking sheet with space between each.
  3. Bake to Perfection: Bake for 18-22 minutes until golden brown and cooked through. Let cool for 1-2 minutes before serving.

Notes

Store cooled sausage balls in airtight container in fridge for up to 4 days. Freeze baked balls for up to 3 months. Reheat in oven or air fryer to restore crispiness. For gluten-free version, use gluten-free baking mix. For lower fat, use turkey sausage and reduced-fat cheese.
