Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 cups cooked chicken, shredded
  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1/2 cup sour cream
  • 1/2 cup Buffalo-style hot sauce (like Frank's RedHot)
  • 1 cup shredded sharp cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 cup crumbled blue cheese (optional)
  • 1/2 cup ranch dressing
  • 2 green onions, thinly sliced
  • Celery sticks, tortilla chips, or baguette slices for serving

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a large bowl, beat the softened cream cheese, sour cream, and ranch dressing until smooth and creamy.
  3. Stir in the Buffalo hot sauce, cheddar cheese, and blue cheese (if using) until well combined.
  4. Fold in the shredded chicken and half of the sliced green onions.
  5. Transfer the mixture to a 1.5 to 2-quart baking dish and spread evenly.
  6. Bake for 20-25 minutes, until the edges are bubbling and the top is golden in spots.
  7. Let the dip rest for 5 minutes. Garnish with the remaining green onions and serve warm.

Notes

For a smoother dip, ensure cream cheese is fully softened. Adjust hot sauce to taste. Dip can be assembled a day ahead and refrigerated before baking.
