Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 wheel double cream brie or goat cheese log
  • 1 block aged cheddar or manchego, sliced
  • 1 fun cheese like pepper jack or a heart-shaped goat cheese
  • 4 oz prosciutto
  • 4 oz salami (regular and/or salame rosa)
  • 1 cup fresh strawberries
  • 1 cup fresh raspberries
  • 1/2 cup dried apricots or figs
  • 1/2 cup dark chocolate squares or chocolate-covered almonds
  • 1/4 cup honey or raspberry jam
  • Assorted crackers and toasted baguette slices
  • 1/2 cup Marcona almonds or pistachios
  • 1 cup red grapes
  • Fresh rosemary or thyme for garnish

Instructions

  1. Remove cheeses from refrigerator 30-60 minutes before assembling to bring to room temperature.
  2. Place your largest cheeses on a large board or platter, spacing them out evenly as anchors.
  3. Add small bowls or ramekins for dips like honey or jam to create height.
  4. Fold or roll the cured meats and arrange them in loose piles near the cheeses.
  5. Place stacks of crackers and groups of toasted baguette slices around the board.
  6. Fill all remaining gaps with fresh fruits, dried fruits, nuts, and chocolate pieces.
  7. Garnish with fresh herb sprigs. Let guests serve themselves and enjoy.

Notes

For a showstopper, bake the brie with cranberry sauce before placing it on the board. Assemble the board no more than 1 hour before serving to keep crackers crisp. All ingredient quantities are flexible; adjust based on your preferences and number of guests.
