- 1 pound ground beef (80/20)
- 1 packet taco seasoning (or 2 tablespoons homemade)
- ⅓ cup water
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 3 tablespoons ranch dressing mix (dry powder)
- 8 ounces cream cheese, softened
- 2 tablespoons sour cream
- 24 wonton wrappers
- ¼ cup diced red bell pepper
- ¼ cup diced green onions
- Optional toppings: Fresh cilantro, diced avocado, lime wedges
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375°F. Spray a 24-cup mini muffin tin with cooking spray. Press wonton wrappers into cups and bake for 5–7 minutes until golden and crisp. Let cool in tin.
- Brown ground beef in a skillet over medium heat. Drain fat, then add taco seasoning and water. Simmer 2–3 minutes. Set aside.
- In a bowl, mix cream cheese, sour cream, and ranch dressing mix until smooth.
- To assemble, spoon a teaspoon of ranch mixture into each wonton cup, add seasoned beef, then sprinkle with cheese. Return to oven for 2–3 minutes to melt cheese.
- Top with diced bell peppers and green onions. Add optional toppings if desired. Serve warm.
Notes
Make wonton cups and fillings ahead, but assemble just before serving for maximum crunch. Easily customizable with different proteins or vegetarian swaps.
