This easy 3 ingredient crockpot recipe creates sweet and spicy meatballs perfect for parties, potlucks, or busy weeknight dinners. Just frozen meatballs, sweet chili sauce, and soy sauce combine for maximum flavor with minimal effort.
Ingredients
- Frozen Meatballs (32 oz bag)
- Sweet Chili Sauce (12 oz bottle)
- Soy Sauce (3 tablespoons)
- Sliced green onions (optional garnish)
- Toasted sesame seeds (optional garnish)
- Fresh cilantro (optional garnish)
Instructions
- Combine the Sauces. In a small bowl, whisk together the entire bottle of sweet chili sauce and the soy sauce.
- Add Meatballs to Crockpot. Place the frozen meatballs directly into your slow cooker.
- Pour and Toss. Pour the sauce mixture over the meatballs. Gently stir to ensure every meatball is coated.
- Cook. Cover and cook on LOW for 3-4 hours or on HIGH for 1-2 hours until heated through and bubbly.
Notes
For thicker sauce, remove lid for last 30 minutes of cooking on HIGH. Use turkey or plant-based meatballs for healthier options. Store leftovers in refrigerator for up to 4 days or freeze for 3 months.
