Description

This high protein mug cake is fluffy, fast, and made in minutes. It’s the perfect dessert-for-breakfast or post-workout treat loaded with flavor and nutrients.


Ingredients

  • 1 tablespoon vanilla protein powder
  • 2 tablespoons oat flour
  • 1 tablespoon sugar or erythritol
  • 1/4 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1 egg or flax egg
  • 2 tablespoons non-dairy milk
  • 1 tablespoon melted butter or coconut oil
  • 1/4 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 tablespoon chocolate chips
  • Pinch of sea salt (optional)

Instructions

  1. In a mug, whisk together egg, milk, vanilla, and melted butter or oil.
  2. Stir in protein powder, oat flour, sugar, and baking powder until fully combined.
  3. Fold in chocolate chips and microwave on high for 60–80 seconds.
  4. Let it sit for 2–5 minutes to cool and set. Add toppings if desired.
