Description

This Crockpot Ravioli Lasagna is a weeknight dinner lifesaver—layered with cheesy ravioli, hearty meat sauce, and melted mozzarella, all made effortlessly in your slow cooker. It’s comfort food made easy!

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 packages (25 oz each) frozen cheese ravioli
  • 1 pound ground beef or Italian sausage
  • 1 large onion, diced
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 jars (24 oz each) marinara sauce
  • 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1 cup ricotta cheese
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 teaspoons Italian seasoning
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • Fresh basil for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  1. In a large skillet, brown ground beef or sausage over medium heat until no longer pink. Add onion and cook until softened, then stir in garlic. Cook 30 seconds more.
  2. Drain any excess grease. Stir in one jar of marinara and Italian seasoning. Simmer 5 minutes.
  3. Spray a 6-quart crockpot with non-stick spray. Spread 1/2 cup of remaining marinara sauce on the bottom.
  4. Layer 1/3 of the frozen ravioli, 1/3 of the meat sauce, 1/3 of the ricotta, 1/3 of the mozzarella, and a sprinkle of Parmesan. Repeat layers twice.
  5. Pour remaining marinara sauce around the edges. Cover and cook on LOW for 3–4 hours or HIGH for 2 hours, until ravioli is tender and cheese is bubbly.
  6. Let rest 10 minutes before serving. Garnish with fresh basil if desired.

Notes

Use fresh ravioli for a quicker cook time (reduce by 30–45 minutes). For vegetarian, skip the meat and add chopped zucchini, mushrooms, or spinach to the sauce. Freezes well in individual portions for meal prep!
