This Crockpot Ravioli Lasagna is a weeknight dinner lifesaver—layered with cheesy ravioli, hearty meat sauce, and melted mozzarella, all made effortlessly in your slow cooker. It’s comfort food made easy!
Ingredients
Scale
- 2 packages (25 oz each) frozen cheese ravioli
- 1 pound ground beef or Italian sausage
- 1 large onion, diced
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 jars (24 oz each) marinara sauce
- 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1 cup ricotta cheese
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 2 teaspoons Italian seasoning
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- Fresh basil for garnish (optional)
Instructions
- In a large skillet, brown ground beef or sausage over medium heat until no longer pink. Add onion and cook until softened, then stir in garlic. Cook 30 seconds more.
- Drain any excess grease. Stir in one jar of marinara and Italian seasoning. Simmer 5 minutes.
- Spray a 6-quart crockpot with non-stick spray. Spread 1/2 cup of remaining marinara sauce on the bottom.
- Layer 1/3 of the frozen ravioli, 1/3 of the meat sauce, 1/3 of the ricotta, 1/3 of the mozzarella, and a sprinkle of Parmesan. Repeat layers twice.
- Pour remaining marinara sauce around the edges. Cover and cook on LOW for 3–4 hours or HIGH for 2 hours, until ravioli is tender and cheese is bubbly.
- Let rest 10 minutes before serving. Garnish with fresh basil if desired.
Notes
Use fresh ravioli for a quicker cook time (reduce by 30–45 minutes). For vegetarian, skip the meat and add chopped zucchini, mushrooms, or spinach to the sauce. Freezes well in individual portions for meal prep!
