Description

This Crispy Chicken Caesar Sandwich brings together juicy breaded chicken, crunchy romaine, and creamy Caesar dressing on a toasted brioche bun. A quick, crave-worthy lunch or dinner you’ll make on repeat!

Ingredients

Scale
  • For the chicken:
  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts (6 oz each)
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 2 large eggs, beaten
  • 2 cups panko breadcrumbs
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • 1 tsp dried oregano
  • 1/2 tsp paprika
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 3 tbsp olive oil for cooking
  • For the Caesar dressing:
  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise
  • 2 tbsp fresh lemon juice
  • 2 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1 tsp Dijon mustard
  • 1 tsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 1/3 cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese
  • Salt and black pepper to taste
  • For assembly:
  • 4 brioche buns, toasted
  • 2 cups romaine lettuce, chopped
  • 1/2 cup Parmesan cheese shavings
  • 8 slices cooked bacon (optional)

Instructions

  1. Pound chicken breasts to 1/2-inch thickness. Season with salt and pepper.
  2. Set up breading station: flour in one dish, beaten eggs in another, and panko mixed with garlic powder, onion powder, oregano, and paprika in a third.
  3. Dredge chicken in flour, dip in egg, then coat in seasoned panko. Press to adhere.
  4. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high. Cook chicken 4–5 minutes per side until golden and cooked through. Set on paper towels.
  5. In a bowl, whisk together mayo, lemon juice, garlic, Dijon, and Worcestershire. Stir in Parmesan. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  6. Toast brioche buns. Spread Caesar dressing on both sides. Layer crispy chicken, romaine, Parmesan shavings, and bacon. Top with bun and serve.

Notes

Make it gluten-free by using gluten-free panko and buns. Swap chicken for cauliflower steaks for a vegetarian version. Add potato chips for an extra crunch layer inside the sandwich!
