Description
This incredibly simple 3 ingredient dip comes together in just 5 minutes and is always a crowd pleaser. Perfect for parties, game day, or a quick snack.
Ingredients
- Cream Cheese (16 ounces): Use two blocks of full-fat cream cheese for the richest, creamiest texture.
- Salsa (16 ounces): A 16-ounce jar of your favorite salsa works perfectly.
- Shredded Cheese (1 cup): I prefer a blend of cheddar and Monterey Jack for its excellent melt and flavor.
Instructions
- Combine the Ingredients. In a medium-sized mixing bowl, add the softened cream cheese, salsa, and shredded cheese.
- Mix Thoroughly. Using a sturdy spatula or a hand mixer on low speed, mix everything together until it is completely combined and smooth.
- Chill and Serve. Transfer the dip to a serving bowl, cover it, and let it chill in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes. Give it a quick stir before serving with your favorite dippers.
Notes
For best results, let cream cheese soften at room temperature for 30 minutes before mixing. The dip can be stored in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 4 days. Do not freeze as the dairy can separate and become watery.
