Description

These easy 3 ingredient Bisquick Sausage Balls are a classic party appetizer that comes together in minutes. Perfect for holidays, game days, or any gathering, these savory bites combine pork sausage, sharp cheddar, and Bisquick for a crowd pleasing treat.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 pound bulk pork sausage (hot variety preferred, but mild or sage breakfast sausage works)
  • 2 cups Bisquick baking mix
  • 8 ounces (2 cups) sharp cheddar cheese, shredded from a block

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a large baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine sausage, Bisquick, and shredded cheddar cheese.
  3. Use your hands to mix and knead ingredients together until a uniform, slightly sticky dough forms (about 2-3 minutes).
  4. Pinch off portions of dough and roll into 1-inch balls. Place them about 1 inch apart on prepared baking sheet.
  5. Bake for 20-25 minutes until golden brown and cooked through.

Notes

For best results, shred cheese from a block rather than using pre-shredded cheese. The mixture may seem dry at first but will come together with continued kneading. Can be made ahead and frozen either cooked or uncooked.
